香蕉你個芭樂！

雖然說...川普上任已經七個多月了

但畢竟這次川普的勝出不單單只是一次司空見慣的政黨輪替〈民主黨→共和黨〉

在某種層面來說也是思想、主義大換帖的時刻。

新任總統川普的支持者來自白人男性及較為底層的勞工，

意味著這些人大多反對各種促進經濟自由等的貿易協定，以及增加移民的法案 (有點像鎖國！？)

然而其實這與傳統共和黨的理念又有些出入，

另外，關於興建邊境圍牆、限制外國伊斯蘭教徒進入美國，

還有最為人不齒的，對女性不當的言論爭議，並甚至到了騷擾的程度...

因此，美國會變得怎麼樣？

世界局勢又會變得怎麼樣？

總而言之，讓我們來看看美國前任總統歐巴馬的離職/告別演說（farewell address）：

THE PRESIDENT：

Hello, Chicago! (Applause.)

It's good to be home! (Applause.)

Thank you, everybody. Thank you. (Applause.)

Thank you so much. Thank you. (Applause.)

All right, everybody sit down. (Applause.)

We're on live TV here. I've got to move. (Applause.)

You can tell that I'm a lame duck because nobody is following instructions. (Laughter.)

Everybody have a seat. (Applause.)

這裡的「lame duck」，

1.跛腳的，瘸的     She's lame from polio. 她因患小兒麻痺症而瘸了。

2.僵痛的

3.站不住腳的，無說服力的     That is a lame excuse. 那不是一個充分的藉口。

從字面上來看就是：「一隻瘸的鴨子」。

但是，美國人這裡指的是 「一個競選連任失敗，並且即將下任，但其任期還有幾個星期、或幾個月的政府官員」。

My fellow Americans -- (applause)

-- Michelle and I have been so touched by all the well wishes that we've received over the past few weeks.

Whether we have seen eye-to-eye or rarely agreed at all,

my conversations with you,

the American people,

意思就是「我美國的同胞們」

這裡的「see eye-to-eye」

to see eye to eye，意思是 (與某人)看法、觀點一致，或意見相同。

1.My father and I have never seen eye to eye where politics is involved.      我與我父親在涉及到政治觀點的地方從沒有一致過。

2.I can not see eye to eye with him.      我不同意他的看法。
